The following Revelation was received by Paul Davies on 8th Nov, 1998. As with all prophetic words, these must be weighed and tested with a spirit of humility and repentance. Where Bible passages are referred to, the interpretations given are not intended to be seen as the interpretation of the passage, but as God speaking to his people's current situation by giving an interpretation.

I was reflecting on the ponderous resistance of the church - even those bodies at the forefront of what the Lord is doing at the moment - to adapting quickly to new directions the Lord brings. At the recent Kevin Prosch Concert in Adelaide, the drummer, Martin Neal, explained why the Band uses many traditional instruments from different cultures around the world. He said: "The Church has selected a certain type of song, and called it worship, and ignored the other styles and sounds of music that exist around the world".

Tommy Tenney, in a workshop address at the April Dallas Conference, commented that the reason God has not shown His Glory in the church is that we have set up our churches for what makes people comfortable, not for what makes God want to come and Hang Out.

As I pondered this, and the responses of various people in our church to the Concert, the Lord impressed to me the words "To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before...." As a Star Trek fan, I immediately recognised the reference to the Starship Enterprise's motto, and thought "Oh come on..."

The Lord impressed me strongly that this was Him, and that the Starship Enterprise was a Prophetic sign to the forthcoming Generation of the Righteous. Their Mission statement is the same as the Enterprise: "To Boldly Go Where No Man has Gone Before". He reminded me that the original series of Star Trek had aired in 1965, when He had begun releasing the Anointed Seed of the Generation of the Righteous. These people receive the Double-portion: the Holy Spirit without any limits, and they will boldly take the church beyond its current boundaries and limitations, as they explore the fullness of the Lord's plan for this world.

Many Prophetic People are currently receiving revelation from the Lord about the emerging "New Breed", and that the Lord is about to change the Church, and focus her outwards into the world. I believe that the Lord has used the concept of the Starship Enterprise, and her mission statement, to encourage us that the Former Things are not to be continuing much longer, and that God is a God of New Things. As Paul Cain says: "The Lord dwells outside the camp".
