It is obvious that the Head of the Church, our Lord Jesus Christ is now restoring the five-fold ministry to His church, and with that will come apostolic power. It is also obvious that Satan is infiltrating the Body of Christ with spirits of divination. Even some who call themselves Christians are unknowingly operating by a spirit of divination. It is Satan's plan to bring confusion through false prophecy, but his plan is more dangerous than just to cause confusion--it is to cause destruction.

Here is his plan: Satan has inspired some to become prophets of doom whose whole ministry purpose is to prophesy nothing but judgment upon the Body of Christ. This is not to say that God's true prophets will not bring prophetic warnings of judgment to the church and the world, but this will not be their total focus. The true prophets of God have been given to the church "for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ" (Eph. 4:12)--for the building up, not the tearing down of the ministry!

Those who operate in a spirit of divination and prophesy judgment upon the church are actually bringing a curse upon the church that Satan can use against the church for his purposes of destruction. If these curses are allowed to stand and are not broken, they become powerful weapons against God's people. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." (Prov. 18:21) Curses are real, and they have power. Satanists and those in the occult use curses as their main weapon against people. So, prophecies of judgements that come through the spirit of divination even in those who call themselves Christians become curses against God's people. Sneaky, isn't he?

We can know these false prophets by their lack of fruit (Matthew 7:15 & 16). The fruit of God's Spirit by which true prophets operate is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal. 5:23). This will be the nature of the true prophets of God towards the church, not those who are unloving and of critical spirit.

The Father will not allow His prophets to prophesy judgment upon His own people without first being willing to intercede for the people and also bear the reproach of the iniquity of the people. This is the Biblical standard set forth in the Holy Scriptures, and this is how you will know the true prophets from the false: Moses (the prophet of God) continually stood in the gap for the people and interceded for them. Isaiah said, "I am a man of unclean lips." He was saying he was just like the "people of unclean lips." He did not consider himself any better than the people. (Isa. 6:5) Jeremiah lamented over the condition of the people. Ezekiel was required to bear the iniquity of the people by laying on his side 430 days. Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Paul said in Romans 9:3 that he would be accursed from Christ for the sake of his brethren.

This is the heart attitude of God's true prophets. I say, beware of those who are critical and accusing and call themselves prophets of God, for they are not. If they are not willing to weep and intercede for and bear the iniquity of God's people with the mantle of sackcloth (humility) resting upon their shoulders, then they are false.

It is time for the true Elijahs of this generation to stand up and confront the prophets of Baal. It is time for the Elijahs to expose the spirit of deception and to break curses brought upon God's church by the spirit of divination. It is time for Jezebel to be thrown out of the window of the church by the eunuchs (those whose flesh has been cut away--circumcised of the heart).

May it be so, precious Father, that every curse against Your people that has been spoken by the spirit of divination now be broken by the blood of Jesus. It is my testimony that in the name of Jesus all demonic powers of darkness are broken, and the spirit of condemnation that has been sent against God's people must now flee. We thank You, Father, that you will now chasten us and bring Your correction to those that You love, and that the Bride will be found without spot or wrinkle--in Jesus' name. Amen.
