Many Prophets That Appear To Be Dead---Can Be Raised!
Go After The Lost Sheep
One morning around the middle of May, 1998, I found myself in that place between sleep and full awakening. A dream from the night was very clear in my mind.
I was not walking, I simply stood in one place. As I watched, the Lord began to present a number of different locations before my eyes. I saw high sand dunes, scrub lands, forests, jungles, swamps and mountains. I saw native villages, small towns and large cities. The one thing each place had in common were eagles scattered about in various stages of illness - some even appearing to be dead - lying on their backs with their wings spread as though they had crashed to the earth. As I wondered over this amazing sight, the Lord began to speak
"These are My eagles," He said, 'My Prophets, some hidden for years. The enemy has mounted an all-out offensive against them. Knowing his time is short, Satan has sent a spirit of insanity against My Prophets, to destroy their minds. Confusion, discouragement, despair, suicide and all manner of mental imbalances are being throw into this battle." I felt sick. The carnage was massive. But the Lord spoke again. "Take heart, they are not all dead, nor will they all die. Even of those that appear dead, many can be raised. There is healing and restoration in Me. This is part of your call, to heal My prophets and set them free from these spirits."
As I wondered over this, and my part in it, the Lord spoke again.
"There is a mysterious disease in the natural world, attacking the Bald Eagle," He said. "This disease is a sign of the attack in the spirit. The only other bird affected by this disease is the coot. The coots are those who have turned their gift over to the service of the enemy. The enemy has no love for them either and they are also falling victim to these spirits. Some are really eagles. Find and free them as well."
There is such a disease, and it is baffling wildlife biologists. It effects the nervous system, eventually causing the afflicted bird to lose all control and die. To refer to His prophets as eagles is not new [See 'The Final Quest by Rick Joyner, for one example.] The coot was a new analogy, however. The coot, or mud hen, is a duck-like bird that I am quite familiar with from my childhood. They are bottom feeders and they are 'defiled' by their diet - Their flesh is unappetizing because of a muddy, gamey flavor. In the same way those involved in 'Spiritism' and 'new age' are defiled in their spirits. Nevertheless, the Lord showed me a year or so ago that there are people operating in the realm of psychics, mediums, channelers and the like, that are truly gifted by Him. Some of these are going to be freed from their deception and come into the service of the Lord as a result of this spiritual 'plague.'
The Lord has given me further understanding that touches upon this matter. In Matthew chapter eighteen, Jesus talks about the shepherd leaving the ninety-nine to go after the one that strayed. The Lord pointed out to me that this 'lost' sheep was HIS, not a stray that 'belonged' in the domain of the enemy. This entire discourse speaks of 'these little ones' - and in verse six He refers to them as 'little ones who believe in Me.'. These 'sheep' are SAVED, but straying from the truth. It is time for the people of God to seek out those strays, backsliders and desperate ones who are angry at the 'church' or 'Christians,' bitter over hurts and misunderstandings or bound by shame and condemnation, believing that God cannot accept them back. We MUST reclaim these lost 'little ones.'
Those that He mentioned, the - 'coots' that are really 'eagles' - will be drawn back to Him by two things. First, the torment of the 'plague' and, second, the display of the true prophetic gift. Nothing in the 'psychic' arena can match the power of God! This is not just my call [no one person could accomplish this alone!] but the call to the entire church. Be aware! Your attitudes toward those 'outside' count. Many are feeling the pull of the Spirit. Don't offend them needlessly, for that will incur the displeasure of God Himself. Take this to prayer and ask for His guidance. The time has come to act.
In Jesus,
Jude 24-25
