From Bill Burns:
October 4, 1998: Listen, My people, says the Spirit of the Lord. I shall tell you; I will speak to you about the times and the seasons in which you live. Did I not come on the Feast of Trumpets and proclaim to you that I was bringing forth a victory in the earth? Did I not speak to you and say I was taking back title deed to the earth? Haven't I told you that even in that season I came to celebrate the victory that I was bringing forth in the earth? The beginning (I speak to you today), the beginning of the manifestations of the sons of God, which I have already prophesied and spoken through the mouths of My servants, that would come forth in this the year, 1998, will manifest in this month on the day of victory. You say, what is the day of victory? I say that Satan has seduced you and taken your mind away from the thoughts that I am trying to give you. The celebrations are not over. Is there not another feast before you? Have you forgotten that upon the morrow, I say upon the morrow begins the Feast of Tabernacles, and it was on the eighth day of that feast that I stood up in the assembly of the first born and said, if any man thirst, come unto Me and I will give you the rivers of life. Come unto Me, and I will give you the Spirit of God, and victory shall spring forth as that river flows out of your innermost being. I have come, I say, to bring a people forth. I am not speaking about a weak people. I am speaking about a people who will live in power, a people who will live in strength, a people who have discerned the times and the seasons--the seasons that are upon them, the appointed seasons, the time of God meeting with man. Now, from your mind, because of the circumstances that you are living in, Satan has washed out from you the remembrance of the glorious appointed times of the seven-day celebration where you are to tabernacle with Me. If you will enter this time of feasting, of tabernacling with Me, the manifest presence of the sons of God shall come forth, I say, upon the eighth day of that feast. For it is written within My heart --the seasons and the times are written. This is a time that I have looked forward to from the foundations of this earth when I, Myself, would pour out the living water in a greater dimension, in a new dimension of power, and the living sons of God would manifest themselves in this the season of victory. It must be so because I have prophesied it, and I bring it forth by My strength in this the season of the restoration of all things.

October 4, 1998: The Lord comes to encourage each of you today. , I have brought forth My love for you in a new dimension, a place of strength. This question I ask you--how much do you love Me? I ask you the same question that I asked Peter. Do you love Me? Do you love Me? Do you love Me? I say, if you loved Me, you would stop the strife. If you loved Me, you would stop the arguments. If you loved Me, you would stop the contention. If you loved Me, you would stop the deception. If you loved Me, you would come out from among them, out from the powers of the world that hold you, out from the chains of bondage, and you would come to My glorious light where I fulfill all of your needs in this kingdom. That happens only when My desire becomes your desire and when your desire becomes a thirsting and when your desire becomes a hunger, when there is a hunger within you for more of Me, a hunger that compels you, a hunger that grips you, a hunger that consumes you, a thirsting after the righteousness of My kingdom, a thirsting after relationship with me. I say, it only comes as you hunger and thirst. When you do, you shall be filled, says the Lord God. Remove your eyes from the world. Remove your eyes from yourself. Stop defending yourself. Stop contending for your own rights. Stop judgment of others with harshness and criticism. Come forth and live in the light of the Lamb of God, and then all that I have that exists within My precious promises that I have given you will flow as a river of living water. It will come forth into your life. The manifest presence of My kingdom shall bring forth a harvest of fruit, a glorious harvest of fruit, the fruit of My kingdom that is birthed from a heart that is committed and submitted unto Me.

Words from the Lord to Marsha Burns:

October 9, 1998: I had a dream this morning that I want to share, but first a little of my personal history. I worked in the stock market from 1965 to 1977, many of those years as a stock broker. In 1966 three men and I left our positions at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith to open a new branch of Dean Witter & Co. in Denver, Colorado. I believe it was 1967 that we moved our offices to the old Denver U.S. Bank building and shortly thereafter a restaurant was established in the basement of this building called "The Broker." The unique thing about this restaurant was that they built booths and had tables in the old bank vault, and this was the scene of my dream. In my dream, my husband and I had heard that there had been a disaster and that the Dean Witter offices had been demolished. Not knowing the extent of the damage, we went to see for ourselves. When we got there, the entire building had been torn down and the rubble removed--it had been a quick work. All that was left was the cement foundation where the restaurant had been, and there were still many workers cleaning up the debris. I don't have a clear interpretation of the dream, but wonder if it might be a sign of a coming economic collapse that has been predicted by various prophets?

October 7, 1998: Many are the words that are coming forth under the guise of prophecy. And, I say, many will be deceived. Unless you stay in the Word, My written word, you can be easily swayed by the opinions of man cloaked as the word of God. My word is your standard by which you must measure every "prophecy." When a true prophecy comes forth, it will cut to the quick. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

October 6, 1998: Order! I have called for order, a condition in which everything is in its place and functioning properly. This must first occur in the spirit realm so that you set your life in the Spirit in proper order and under authority. The body cannot function without the Head. This admonition then has to do with how you function with the Head and how you relate to the rest of the Body. You cannot and will not be able to stand in haughtiness and superiority or in separation by way of offense and unforgiveness. When you begin to establish order, the first task is to discard old, useless items. I am asking you to discard selfish attitudes and behaviors, to deal with and get rid of those things that create chaos and rob you of peace. Begin by seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness! I have given you to the Body of Christ to be in your position, to take your place. I am ordering My Body and bringing every member to perfection.

October 5, 1998: There is a turning of the tide, a shifting of the wind, a change in the seasons, and a new day dawns. "Watchman, what of the night? The morning comes and also the night." The days ahead will be the darkest and most treacherous yet known to man. You must be prepared. I say, prepare yourselves. Leave frivolity behind, and abandon the things of the world that have enticed and held you. It is time to consecrate yourselves, cleanse your hands, and purify your hearts. Come out of the darkness of secret sins and private bondages and into the light of freedom and safety. In the days ahead you must be found in Me. I am the ark of safety, your place of secure habitations.

October 3, 1998: I say, rise up and call the discouragement and accusations that come against your mind a lie! Do not receive these lies that would drag you down into a pit of despair. Psalm 42:5 Why then be downcast? Why be discouraged and sad? Hope in God! I shall yet praise him again. Yes, I shall again praise him for his help. This, My beloved, is momentary. What you are dealing with is of temporary concern. Rise up. Look and see with eternal perspective and eternal values. Refuse to be reduced to self-focus and self-pity by the issues of life. James 1:2-3 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
