Prophetic Utterance through Bill Burns:
December 20. 1998:
I come to you, My children, for I have an announcement
to make. There is to be the birth of a new manchild, a glorious manchild.
One that will follow Me and preach as I preached, and walk as I walked,
and cast out demons as I cast out demons, and lay hands on the sick as
I laid hands on the sick. And, they shall rise and be healed, for I am
now coming to live in you. Behold, I am indeed the first manchild, but
now I come to you in a new dimension of time, a dimension of glory, and
I call you forth to walk in the power that I walked in; to walk in the
anointing that I walked in; to walk in the dominion that I walked in, and
to do the works that I came to do upon this earth. I now call you forth.
Some of you have glimpsed just an open window of the destiny that lies
before you, but I say to you, in this coming year you shall come through
that opening into a new place. Behold, a new manchild comes forth to live
in power, to rule in glory. I extend to you today the staff of life, but
not only the staff of life, for that you have understood. But, now I extend
to you the rod of iron, the rod of My authority, the rod of My power, the
rod of the governing powers of My kingdom. I come to you in the dimension
and the dominion of My Spirit today to spark a new life within you. Behold
it comes this day and will carry you through the trials which are before
you. It will carry you forth in the power that I, Myself, walked in. For
this is indeed that season and time. I say unto you, look up, for not only
does your redemption draw nigh, but watch for the glory that is to come
upon you. Pray that it would come to you quickly, receive it as a gift,
for it has been given freely as the gift of My kingdom for those who have
been faithful to walk with Me in this the end of the age. Open your hearts,
My children, to receive fully the gift not only of salvation but that of
glory and power and divine rule. I send it forth on the wind of My Spirit
to touch your spirit. I say, receive!
December 13, 1998:
The season of sifting is before you, but if you
will come forth in the place of faith as I am giving you opportunity, it
will be a much easier walk. If you come forth in faith, I will join my
faith with you, and the gift of faith will be given to the hearts of the
righteous, and then the power of My kingdom will be loosed and demonstrated
in your life, and the season of sifting will become a season of power and
not defeat. The Spirit of the Lord says, I have opened a door before you.
This is a new door to many of you that will bring you forth into the destiny
that I have laid before you, a door that will give you now the opportunity
to turn your minds upon Me, your hearts upon Me where every fear is laid
aside, where every thought of disobedience has no place, and where you
come with a new level of commitment, where you come now in a position of
faith knowing in Whom you have believed and you know that God is going
to deliver you and bring you forth into the fullness of His kingdom.
December 12, 1998:
It is now that time, the winter season is just before
us, and it is now time for the winter winnowing to begin; it is time for
the refining of My people. My precious ones have come into the safe habitations
of My kingdom. The time has come for the righteous to shine forth in the
glory of My Father's kingdom. Many have not had ears to hear, and they
will now be gathered out of My kingdom. They are those who have refused
to listen. They have stopped up their ears, and they violate the word of
My covenant. "And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce
with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves
strong and shall stand firm and do exploits for God. And they who are wise
and understanding among the people shall instruct many and make them understand,
though some of them and their followers shall fall by the sword and flame,
by captivity and plunder, for many days. Now when they fall, they shall
receive a little help. Many shall join themselves to them with flatteries
and hypocrisies. And some of those who are wise, prudent and understanding
shall be weakened and fall, thus then, the insincere among the people will
lose courage and become deserters. It will be a test to refine, to purify
and to make those among God's people white, even to the time of the end,
because it is yet for the time God appointed." Daniel 11:32-35 AMP
December 6, 1998:
The Spirit of the Lord began to speak to me about
a disease that some of you have that is common to Christianity called nearsightedness.
You are not eternally focused. Your perspective is not eternal; your focus
is on you and your circumstances and your desires. The Lord said tell them
it is not about them; it is about Me! The whole of this kingdom is not
about you; it is about Me and what I am doing in it. Those that are Mine
have eternal perspective and are not hindered by the walk in this life;
they are not concerned about the problems in this life; they are not concerned
about their circumstances. They are concerned about My kingdom and being
found in it and being one with Me and doing My perfect will as My Son did.
It is time to get some new glasses--a change in vision.
December 4, 1998:
Who is wise among you? Who has seen the signs that
I have brought forth this evening? Is there not a newborn babe among you
tonight? Have I not spoken to you that I would send signs forth in the
earth that would tell you that which is coming? I send you forth a sign
tonight which speaks forth this message--out of the mouths of babes perfect
praise comes forth. Out of the mouths of babes praise is perfected. I cry
to you this night by My Spirit, and I ask you a question. I say, where
are the heralds that will take this message and run to the four corners
of the earth? Where are messengers that will come forth and stand in the
midst of the congregation and say unto My people, the Lord of glory has
come? He has brought forth a new sound unto the earth, a sound that is
bringing His people up higher. He is establishing a place within His people
of perfect praise. The angels themselves are gathered around with you.
They are in your midst, and they are worshipping Me. Have you not sensed
the presence of angelic beings and the radiance of My glory coming upon
you? This is the season for perfect praise. My power cannot rest upon a
people that have not learned how to worship Me and praise Me. Think for
a moment and examine the sign that I have given you. Does a baby have inhibitions?
Doesn't he cry when he needs to cry out to the parent for comfort? Doesn't
he cry out to the parent for love? Doesn't he cry out to the parent for
a touch? Doesn't he cry out to the parent for feeding? I would have you
become like little children, My people. Cry out to Me when you need nourishment.
Cry out to Me when you need comfort. Cry out to Me for surely I shall come
unto you and I shall sustain you. The nourishment of My kingdom shall flow
forth into your life, for I am indeed the Lord of glory. I am the Father
of life. There is life in Me. I desire to bring that life forth into you.
Will you not open your mouth as a babe and cry? Cry as a babe cries out
for a tender touch. Cry as a babe cries out for reassurance. I say, this
is My desire. I am bringing you to a new level, new heights. I am bringing
you to the top of Mount Zion, up to the place where the heavenly harps
will join with your music and the heavenly voices will manifest themselves
in the congregation, for surely now I am joining together both natural
and spiritual so that all the world will see that I am indeed the Master,
the King. Behold, your King walks among you tonight, reaching out to touch
you, deliver you and heal you. Behold, the Lamb of God who has taken away
the sins of the world. Behold, the Lamb of God that has come to renew you.
Behold the Lamb of God that has come to bestow His touch of love upon you.
Behold Him, for surely He walks among you.

December 25, 1998:
Oh, My people, you celebrate in My name, but your
celebration is in word only. You speak it with your lips, but your hearts
are turned to satisfy your own desires through self-indulgence. Turn back
to Me quickly. Come up into My face. Repent of your distractions. Leave
the things of the flesh and world behind you; shake off the dust of defilement,
and enter into the Most Holy place. Leave behind the disappointment and
discouragement of unfulfilled expectations and hopes, for they are not
of Me. Cleanse your hands and purify your hearts. I am waiting for you!
December 23, 1998:
Bring your heart before Me. I am still cleansing
and purging My people. To those who have thought that they have been purged
and pruned already, I say be prepared for a deeper cleansing. I am dealing
with you on a deeper, more subtle level. I am getting at the "heart" of
every issue and bringing light so that nothing remains in the darkness.
Do not be afraid of this process. The process of bringing everything to
the light gives no place for the enemy to blackmail you and sets your free
from his bondage. Rejoice!
December 22, 1998:
The time is coming, the time is near when those
who have refused to come into the ark, a place of safety in Me, will be
left out. The day is at hand when I will shut the door, and it will be
too late for those who have insisted on walking in the world and doing
what is right in their own eyes instead of being obedient to My word. Wake
up, those of you who are sleeping and in apostasy and complacency! Come
out from among those who encourage you in compromise. Choose now whom you
will serve. If you want to belong to Me and be on My side, then do it wholeheartedly.
Haven't I said that if you are lukewarm I will spew you out of My mouth?
Time is short. Decide!
December 21, 1998:
Here comes the Wind! My desire is that you be caught
up in the Wind. Do not resist it. Go with it. On the Day of Pentecost in
the Upper Room there was the sound of a mighty rushing wind, but I say
this will not be just a sound. It will blow with strength and might to
move you, My people, into places where I can use you effectively. Yield
to the Wind of My Spirit to do with you as I please. I am looking for a
people who will not stubbornly cling to old places of safety and familiarity,
but who are willing to throw caution to the wind, step out in boldness
and faith, and walk in and be moved by My Spirit.
December 19, 1998:
Things will move very quickly now. Matthew 24:22
"And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for
the elect's sake those days will be shortened." I call you, My people,
to simplify your lives as much as possible so that I can use you in these
days at optimum capacity. Refuse to allow petty issues to cloud your view
of Me and My purposes for the end of the age. Be alert and ready to move
quickly as I give direction to your hearts. I will use those whose response
to My leading is immediate and sensitive. Keep your mind and vision clear,
and maintain an honest and open heart before Me. Micah 1:3-4 "For behold,
the LORD is coming out of His place; He will come down and tread on the
high places of the earth. The mountains will melt under Him, and the valleys
will split like wax before the fire, like waters poured down a steep place."
December 18, 1998:
Things as you remember them will never be the same
again. Old things are passing away. An old way of living, things that you've
depended upon to be stable and unchanging, will change. The world system
that you thought would always be the same will not be. This is not a cause
of fear, My children, but a cause for rejoicing because of the time in
which you live. For, now is the time for my Word to be fulfilled not only
in your ears but in your sight. You will see that My Word is not a fable,
but living and powerful and has waited for its time of fulfillment. Now
is that time. This is a time that you, My chosen ones, will draw closer
to My bosom and hear the beating of My heart and know My love for you.
I am your place of protection; draw close. 2 Peter 3:9-11 "The Lord is
not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering
toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come
to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night,
in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements
will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it
will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved,
what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness."
December 16, 1998:
I had a dream of about three really old people posing
for a family picture. They were standing behind a table filled with framed
pictures of family members who had already died. They were all wearing
red and white gingham shirts and either a thought came through or a voice
said that these were the last people of the final generation. And, the
Lord says, indeed these are the last days. You are living in a time when
things will never be the same as what you remember to be the "good old
days." These are perilous times. Things will occur, and changes will take
place rapidly. My people, there is much to do in the days ahead. You must
leave the things of the world behind and find yourselves totally in Me.
I am your only place of safety. Be strong. I am looking for a people who
will be yielded and obedient to My every direction, a people I can trust
with my plans and purposes for the days ahead.
December 15, 1998:
1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your
adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may
devour." Hide yourselves in the safety of My presence. Keep yourselves
from sin and worldliness. Give no place for the devil to invade. I call
you today to be watchmen on the wall, and as you see the enemy approaching,
cry out. Warn those around you to prepare for the coming attack and be
ready to defend and fight back. He is spying out the territory trying to
find weak places that he might break through and plunder.
December 14, 1998:
I had a dream of a man who had stolen something
from our church and was getting away in a helicopter. The man was very
adept at flying his aircraft, and he was familiar to me in personality,
although I didn't know him. As he was lifting off, I could see a look of
smug, self-satisfaction on his face. But, he had failed to notice a huge
power line just ahead of him. By the time he saw it, he had gone a little
too far, and even though he kept trying to get above it and kept trying
to maneuver away from it, it was too late. The blades of the helicopter
got tangled in the power line, and although I didn't see an explosion,
I saw the meltdown. His black helicopter melted and crumpled like a silk
scarf floating down to the ground. The man represents the spirit of the
antichrist (who comes to steal, kill and destroy) working through man.
He is a manipulator, a controller, an operator. He always believes that
he will get away with coming against the church of the Living God, that
he can commit spiritual crimes against God's people without consequence.
He has no fear of God who has all power (the power lines), but we are living
in a time when the Lord will bring judgment upon those who have committed
evil against the Lord by abusing His people. The helicopter represents
trying to move in the air or spirit realm by natural means, and no amount
of clever maneuvering will avert God's judgment.
December 12, 1998:
I have been calling to you--Come! My desire is that
you come in close to Me, for the storms are beginning to rage, and I am
your only place of safety. Seek Me with all your heart, mind and soul,
for there you will find comfort, and there you will find grace and mercy.
In My presence you will find peace and rest for your souls. Some of you,
My people, are weary and weighed down with burdens too heavy for you to
bear. But, I say, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and
I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am
gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My
yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30) Bring your burdens
to Me. Am I not able to carry them? Unburden yourselves and come into My
peace, My safety, My liberty. Be free! Trust Me with your cares and find
rest.
December 11, 1998:
Don't look back. You can't live in the past. What's
done is done. You can't change it or relive it. You, My precious people,
must go forward. I am doing a work today in your lives. Reminiscence is
a trap and can lead to bondage if you stay there. Be free to live in the
here and now. Only use the past to recount experiences that bring glory
and honor to My kingdom. Testify of Me and My great power, but do not set
up idols of the old days and old ways and people who once were. That leads
to fantasy and deception. Come to Me today, and leave the past behind.
Philippians 3:13-14, "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended;
but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching
forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the
prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
December 9, 1998:
I see the dilemmas that you are facing. I know the
problems that you wrestle with, and yet you hang on to them and try to
solve them by your own power and wits. Always striving; never coming to
conclusion. The difficulties that you face give you opportunities to come
to Me. Is there anything that I cannot accomplish? Yet, you do not ask.
Is there anything too great for My understanding? Yet, you do not seek
My wisdom. Come to Me with all your needs. I am not only willing, but I
am able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you could ask or think.
I can do nothing, however, unless you bring your burdens to Me.
December 8, 1998:
Rise up! I say, rise up out of the darkness of demonic
control. How long will you, people who are called by My name, bow down
to demons of lust, greed, fear and the like? Behold, I have given you the
authority to trample over serpents and scorpions and over ALL the power
of the enemy so that nothing shall by any means hurt you. The blood shed
on Calvary was not only to provide salvation, but deliverance as well.
I have given you, through victory over the enemy, the power to overcome.
Rise up in the power and authority I have given you and overcome! How long
will you be a victim of the enemy? John 10:10 "The thief does not come
except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may
have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
December 7, 1998:
The seduction of the season has drawn many of My
people into a dark, murky trap. Do you sense the oppression and heaviness?
I say to you, rise up! Press through into My presence to see My face and
bask in My glory. Colossians 3:4, "If then you were raised with Christ,
seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right
hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who
is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." Refuse
to be pulled down into worldliness and bondage. Rise up! Come to Me!
December 5, 1998:
Bring every thought captive to the obedience of
Christ. Let the light, truth, flood every area of your mind and heart.
Bring to light every hidden motive, forgive every offense, release every
place of disappointment, discouragement, rejection, fantasy or fear. You
will not be able to see clearly with these things in your heart. Deception
is the presence of these places of darkness. Yet, I call you to walk in
light. Come into the purity of relationship with Me and be done with everything
ungodly.
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!
