On Oct. 14, 1998 during an Aware conference in Tacoma, Wa. we had a corporate time of prayer for America. As we prayed the Lord gave me the following words about nine American cities. The comments are brief and I wondered if perhaps my hearing was at fault but I now believe these short revelations may encourage many people to lift up prayers as they read them. What city strikes your heart as you read this list? Do you have any connection with these cities that might prompt you to pray for one of them? I know that each of these cities has praying people in them with a great depth of understanding compared to these short words.

Also, as a matter of interest, mark these cities out on a map and look at the pattern. I don't have full understanding of it but I trust that our Lord has a prayer army out there that He will reveal His purposes to. I felt the Lord wanted me to release this word as a follow up to the Vision for the Nations from last week, as a further call to pray for our America...He said not to hesitate, to blow the trumpet! In reference to number four, no time frame was shown to me and usually my thoughts are incorrect when it comes to timing so I won't even try to comment on that. As most people say who send words to this list, I submit this to the Body of Christ to be judged and discerned.

1. It is going to go hard with San Francisco because they have embraced and glorified sin.
2. New York is actually open to the Holy Spirit right now.
3. Boston has pride.
4. Seattle is perched on the edge of revival because of all the prayers lifted up on behalf of the people.
5. St. Louis is in the middle of the country...pray for it so a barrier will be removed.
6. Minneapolis is a northern gateway.
7. Phoenix is lazy...relaxing in the sun.
8. New Orleans is a gateway for influence from the Caribbean...pray against these spirits.
9. Miami has been an inheritor of rebellion and violence.
